The Charro Foundation
The Charro Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which has provided millions of dollars of support through the years with grants and donations to local charities and educational programs.

Through a number of programs, we recognize and award students and teachers who at all time ‘give it their best.’ The Charro Foundation provides scholarship funds to high school seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s in Education, as well as working teachers wishing to obtain their Master’s degree in Education. The recipients of our scholarships are recognized at an annual banquet, during which dozens of educators, students and retiring teachers are also honored for their commitment to educational excellence.

Additionally, The Charro Foundation supports our youth by funding a diverse group of charities and community organizations which share our passion to build a better future for our children. In the past, The Charro Foundation has provided funding to dozens of organizations, including the Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, Horsense, Junior Achievement, McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, Miracle League, Partners for Paiute, Phoenix Day, Scottsdale Cultural Council, Scottsdale Healthcare Auxiliary, Scottsdale Leadership, Southwest Human Development and STARS.
The Charros have a long tradition of service to the community. Its membership is comprised of 40 active volunteers and more than 180 lifetime volunteers, who are dedicated to raising money to support the programs of The Charro Foundation. The Charros’ work during spring training baseball at Scottsdale Stadium supports the initiatives of The Charro Foundation. When you visit the Charro Lodge at Scottsdale Stadium, you support our community through The Charro Foundation!
