The Scottsdale Charro’s First Pitch
Join the Charros and kick off Spring Training in style at the Scottsdale Galleria. You’ll enjoy a sampling of food from a variety of local restaurants, drinks, live music and a huge auction. Best of all the proceeds will benefit the Miracle League of Arizona and Scottsdale Charros Charities.
The 2012 Scottsdale Charros’ First Pitch Event is on Saturday, February 25th at the Galleria Corporate Centre, 4343 N. Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale, Arizona.

Future Teacher Scholarship – The Charro Foundation values education and believes that teaching is a noble, admirable, and critically important profession. We wish to encourage our college-bound students to pursue teaching as they begin to make choices regarding their career paths. To this extent, The Charros have been awarding college scholarship funds to our ‘future teachers’ for more than two decades. We are honored to support these students who feel passionate about making a difference to our future generations.
Master’s in Education Fellowship – The Charro Foundation is committed to education and to our community as a whole. To this end, we understand the value of our teachers furthering their own education and have established The Charro Foundation Master’s in Education Fellowship Program. Each year we award scholarship funds to working teachers – providing them the opportunity to pursue their Master’s Degree in Education at Arizona State University. This initiative is one of our hallmark programs, underscoring The Charro Foundation’s commitment to education and to the present and future generations of our community.
