Colorado Rockies Spring Training Tickets
When the Colorado Rockies first began play in 1993 the team became a member of the National League West. The franchise also became a member of the Cactus League for spring training and conducted its spring training activities at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson from 1993-2010. This is one of the older stadiums in the Cactus League with a capacity of 9,500 spectators. Parts of the 1989 movie Major League were filmed at Hi Corbett Field. However, when a new stadium was going to be built in Scottsdale, AZ near the Talking Stick Resort, the Colorado Rockies were offered an opportunity to share the stadium with the Arizona Diamondbacks, and they accepted.
The Rockies moved to their new spring training digs in 2010 and immediately benefited from the incredible features of the new venue. The Salt River Fields at Talking Stick offers a larger seating capacity and can hold 11,000 baseball fans. Fans will enjoy a truly amazing experience at Talking Stick due to the many practice fields, a gorgeous ballpark and an awesome selection of concessions, all with easy access to the stadium off the Loop 101.
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick very quickly became one of the more popular Cactus League spring training stadiums, and Rockies spring training tickets are indeed a premium.
