Founded in 1961 as a special activity organization of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, the Scottsdale Charros are dedicated to serving the community through the promotion and support of education, youth programs and economic development that preserves the past while looking to the future.

It was called The Ballpark in Arlington from 1994-2004, Ameriquest Field in Arlington from 2004-2006 and Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ever since. The seating capacity of this stadium is 49,170 and was designed with a retro-theme in mind. The design of the upper deck makes it one of the highest of all MLB stadiums. Greene’s Hill is a sloped area of turf behind center field that serves as a batter’s eye for hitters due to contrast in color to the baseball.
